Rolle
“a postcard sent by the Gods” e … and protected by the Italian National Trust
Rolle is a small village under the municipality of Cison di Valmarino, in the province of Treviso, only a few kilometers away from Vittorio Veneto, Conegliano, Follina, Valdobbiadene, Treviso.
Surrounded by green hills, it faces a valley of vineyards and meadows.
It’s impossible to pass “by chance”, you must arrive here (by car, motor bike, bicycle), through gentle slopes. Behind each bend, you find a new landscape, kissed by the sun all day long. At the end you reach the small village and enjoy the wonderful panorama and the silence.
Rolle… “a postcard sent by the Gods”, as the famous poet Andrea Zanzotto described it, has been protected by the Italian National Trust since 2004. The restaurant Da Andreetta is right in the heart of the village, next to the 13th century Church.
The panoramic terrace of the restaurant overlooks the landscape and in spring and summer it is the perfect place for lovely lunches or dinners in the open air.
On the upper floor of the restaurant, the B&B Residence Gastaldo di Rolle (opened in 2005) is ideal for a stay in the province of Treviso, among the vineyards of Prosecco and Verdiso. The comfortable and bright rooms face the valley. They are all equipped with private bathroom, minibar, LCD television and satellite.
The generous breakfast includes homemade cakes, typical homemade cold cuts, local cheeses, jams and yoghurt, cereals, hot and cold drinks.
